Ubisoft San Francisco has finally released its free-to-play first-person shooter, XDefiant which has been highly anticipated for a few years now. There were several delays for the game as Ubisoft encountered some internal technical issues that prevented the game from releasing last year. On its first day, XDefiant already experienced matchmaking issues that wouldn’t allow players to join an online game.

For most of Tuesday, May 21st, XDefiant had experienced server issues and that is always normal these days for new free-to-play games. The good news about these issues is that there are thousands of players who want to play the fresh first-person shooter.

XDefiant released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with its preseason available to play now. Ubisoft is planning four seasons in the first year of XDefiant and it will bring more Maps, Factions, Modes, and Weapons.

Right now, XDefiant already has 14 Maps, 5 Factions, 5 Modes, and 24 Weapons and that number will continue to rise over the next year. Season 1 will go live after six weeks.
