The Halo TV Series has gone through a lot since its initial reveal during the Xbox One tent reveal in May of 2013. Today, the latest bit of news for the television series confirms that the show will now be moving from being a Showtime series to being available on Paramount+.

Produced by Showtime in partnership with 343 Industries, the series will premiere on Paramount+ in Q1 2022.

Starring Pablo Schreiber, Halo will take place in the universe that first came to be in 2001, dramatizing an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. The show will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

Not too long ago 343 Industries shared images of the set where they are filming Halo where you can see here

Halo had filmed 55%-60% of its first season when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down all of the production in March of 2020. The wait looks to finally be over and Halo fans can finally get to watch the live action Halo television series.
