Original: Although Rocksteady Studios fulfilled its three game installment for the Batman Arkham trilogy, fans sit hungry awaiting for a new Batman game to arrive sometime down the line. Thankfully, there is a new entry on the way from Batman Arkham Origins team Warner Bros. Montreal. In that, Gotham Knights is one game to take players back to Gotham City with a cast of sidekicks now helming the spotlight.
Yes, you can play a cast of characters: Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood. The four come with a diverse cast of abilities to choose from in terms of stealth, combat, traversal, and upgrades which each respectively can unlock. Previously, the game was slated for a 2021 launch date, but was pushed to a later release window in 2022 instead.
Entering into March now, Warner Bros. Montreal has announced Gotham Knights is slated to ship later this fall in October.
Additionally, that is not the only game on behalf of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment aimed for this year. Atop of Gotham Knights, Rocksteady Studios is finishing up on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Back at The Game Awards a gameplay trailer was finally revealed sharing the game in action with its projected 2022 release not coming soon enough.
Also, developer Avalanche Software is to be shipping Hogwarts Legacy later in 2022 as well. While only one in-game trailer was revealed more than a year ago, it was at the start of last year that the game studio ushered the game to a new 2022 release time frame.
