A.K.I is joining Street Fighter 6 later this year

Capcom arrived at EVO with a few announcements for Street Fighter. They announced a collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and now a new character is joining Street Fighter 6. A.K.I is an all-new Street Fighter 6 character that is going to be released later this year.

When is A.K.I joining Street Fighter 6?

A.K.I will soon be the 20th playable Street Fighter 6 character, with her first in-game cinematic footage from the single-player World Tour mode as a surprise stinger for the crowd. A.K.I. will be released in Fall 2023. More information will be revealed about her at a later date.

Owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition or the Year 1 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass of Street Fighter 6 will acquire A.K.I when she releases.

The most recent character to join the Street Fighter 6 roster was Rashid who joined on July 24. EVO brought a lot of announcements for fighting games. Mortal Kombat 1 had three more characters announced, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising was announced, and Tekken 8 had two more fighters revealed.

Street Fighter 6 is the most casual, and accessible minded fighting game, without sacrificing any depth for the hardcore players. We gave Street Fighter 6 a 9/10 in our review of the game.
