Saints Row, Black Desert – Traveler Edition, Generation Zero Confirmed For PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup This September

In the stretch on monthly free game programs, there only remains one starting next month. In that, Microsoft is to shutter Xbox Games with Gold after a decade with the all-new Xbox Game Pass Core subscription. Current Xbox Live Gold members will transition to the new subscription tier with a list of two dozen featured titles. However, PlayStation on the other hand is not going anywhere.

As part of PlayStation Plus – regardless of the subbed tier – there is at least two free games per month. In June, Sony Interactive Entertainment reflected on the new revamped service milestones made then. As of August 2023, the free games featured included Death’s Door, Dreams, and PGA Tour 2K23. And the next wave is underway.

According to a new PlayStation Blog post on Wednesday, PlayStation Plus is to feature another new trio of titles – Saints Row, Black Desert – Traveler Edition, Generation Zero. All titles featured will include PlayStation 4 versions. The only to include a next-generation PlayStation 5 version is Volition’s Saints Row.

In our review for Saints Row, we wrote: “The core game, the characters, and the gameplay are all top-notch. It may seem like a throwback to some, but Saints Row provides the perfect blend of story and fun the series desperately needed.” More recently, the title just went live on Steam after a year launching for Epic Games Store originally.

Noted, there is still time to download August 2023’s free titles – Death’s Door, Dreams, and PGA Tour 2K23. Subscribers have until September 4th to install the three.
