On September 14, 2023, Nintendo shadow-dropped a new Battle Royale game, F-Zero 99 which is based on the SNES version of F-Zero. The game is available for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers and it comes at no additional cost similar to Tetris 99. Recently, Nintendo announced F-Zero 99 would be receiving new tracks and it turns out a total of 5 new tracks were added to the game.

On September 29, 2023, the following tracks were introduced:

Mute City II

Port Town I

Red Canyon I

White Land II

Death Wind II

Nintendo also announced the Queen League will appear in Grand Prix events as well.
