Phil Spencer will be at The Game Awards

Xbox Chief, Phil Spencer who made an appearance at CCXP 2023 in Brazil, is looking ahead to another large event in the video game industry. The Game Awards takes place on December 7, 2023, at 7 PM ET in Los Angeles and Phil Spencer confirmed that he will be there.

After making a farewell post for CCXP 2023 on X (formerly Twitter), Xbox super fan Tim Dog replied asking if he’ll be at The Game Awards this year. Spencer replied saying “I’ll be at TGAs, looking forward to the show.”

Yeah, Phil Spencer always attends this event as does Doug Bowser of Nintendo of America and PlayStation always has a representative. What’s significant about Phil attending this year is that Xbox is rumored to have some announcements at this year’s show. It’s possible we see updates on games that we’ve been anticipating for a while now or it could be something related to hardware.

Don’t forget that in 2019 Microsoft revealed the Xbox Series X at The Game Awards and you just never know what might happen.
