The PlayStation VR 2 has been underwhelming, to say the least, since it was released on February 22, 2023. It was recently reported that Sony is shrinking its Virtual Reality effort with only two games in development for the PSVR 2.
It is believed that Sony would like to sell more headsets as the PSVR 2 app will be supported on PC via Steam on August 6. With that, the price for the PlayStation VR 2 has been cut and has reached its lowest price point yet. The app will allow players to use the headset on either PC or PlayStation 5.
You can now purchase the PlayStation VR 2 for just $349.99 at major retailers or at PlayStation Direct. Originally, the virtual reality headset was priced at $549.99 and Sony decided to cut the price by $200.

The sale for the PSVR 2 concludes on August 6, 2024, when it receives PC support. On top of the app, you’ll need the $60 adapter for the device if you want to use it on a PC.
This is by far the biggest price cut we’ve seen on a PlayStation VR headset and it might be the only opportunity to get it at this price. There are PlayStation-exclusive games like Horizon Call of the Mountain and Gran Turismo 7.
