FromSoftware announced that Bloodborne will be undergoing maintenance on December 3, 2024, which coincidentally aligns with the date hidden in a recent PlayStation trailer. The maintenance announcement came up when you started up Bloodborne, saying that it will be offline for maintenance at certain times.

There has been a lot of speculation on if Sony and FromSoftware will be announcing a Remaster or Remake for Bloodborne. On top of that, there have been discussions about Sony looking to acquire Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware.

If Sony Interactive Entertainment does officially acquire FromSoftware, fans have made it clear they’d love a Bloodborne 2 sequel to happen.

The December 3rd maintenance date is interesting as it was unexpected and it’s about a week before The Game Awards.

As always we must take any speculation with a grain of salt.
