
The lingering acoustics from Xbox Cloud Gaming continues to linger as Microsoft furthers its investment into its platform outside of the console market. Come November will be a full year since the Xbox firm began pushing its ‘This Is An Xbox’ campaign. Follow suit, Microsoft also offered additional messaging for a new “Gaming Anywhere” initiative that brings Xbox to new & ambitious ports of entry.
Among the current options like smart TVs & Amazon Fire Stick, Microsoft has been tackling other ventures to bring a wider audience. Under the scope of multi-device play styles, Xbox is invested in using the Xbox Cloud Gaming net on Gen Z players and younger according to data shared at Gamescom. Alongside streaming your purchase library, Microsoft also opened cloud to its Core & Standard tiers as well recently via Xbox Insiders too.
So where else can Xbox be available? Well, in partnership with LG, Microsoft is preparing to ship support for select vehicles to provide Xbox Cloud Gaming. Tesla users already faced similar treatment with Steam in 2022, now Xbox is taking a jab at this as well. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

Through our collaboration with LG Electronics, we are working to integrate the Xbox experience into select internet-connected vehicles, introducing a new way to bring more of what players love about Xbox into more places.”
Xbox marketing vice president Chris Lee continues: “With the Xbox built into LG’s webOS Automotive Content Platform (ACP), passengers in internet-connected vehicles will be able to stream and play games directly from the Xbox app. Game Pass Ultimate members will soon have instant access to hundreds of games including popular titles like Gears of War: Reloaded, Forza Horizon 5, and upcoming releases like Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds 2 (an automotive data plan is required to access streaming services.”
Adding: “Whether you’re jumping back into an old favorite or discovering something completely new, Xbox Cloud Gaming and LG Electronics transforms your vehicle’s infotainment system into more than just music and movies – it becomes a full entertainment hub. Whether you’re waiting at an EV charging station or trying to entertain your passengers on an extended road trip, pass the time by playing games keeping everyone entertained and making the journey feel more fun.”
Probably one of the more obscure locations Xbox users have found fun with cloud gaming is Samsung devices. In particular, one user shows Doom Eternal & Gears 5 running on a Samsung refrigerator back in 2020. You can read the full report by heading here.
