Nintendo Direct announced for Friday, September 12

Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct is set for Friday, September 12, at 9:00 AM ET / 6:00 AM PT. The direct will be 60 minutes long, featuring information on upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games.

The Nintendo Direct can be viewed on Nintendo’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. It will also be available to watch on Nintendo Today.

There haven’t been many leaks regarding this direct presentation. The expectation is to have some sort of Mario news, whether it’s the upcoming movie or updates on current Mario games, since it’s the 40th anniversary.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is expected by fans and media to receive an official release date for the Switch and Switch 2. Other rumors teased that Resident Evil 7 will be making an appearance.
