Nintendo has remained confident that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be released in 2025 on Switch and Switch 2. Fans have been waiting 8 years since it was first revealed in 2017, and there has been some worry about it releasing this year since we haven’t heard anything yet.
Today, Metroid Prime 4 has been officially rated in Korea, which could very well mean news on a release date should be happening soon.

There is a report circulating that a Nintendo Direct presentation is expected to take place in July 2025. This information was initially shared by NateTheHate, who continues to believe that the event will occur, even though there is only one week left in the month.
This month, Nintendo released Donkey Kong Bananza on the Switch 2, and the next big releases aside from Metroid happening this year for the console will be Kirby Air Riders and Pokémon Legends Z-A.
