The Controlled Access Zone in Arc Raiders comes with the Shrouded Sky content update on February 24, 2026. This is a locked loot area inside the Dam Battlegrounds map, containing a puzzle, locked doors, and richer loot. The layout is like a maze filled with secured doors and puzzles, making it a complex interior space on this map.
Solve the puzzle by following the correct sequence and unlock the room filled with multiple crucial items to loot. Make sure you have 12 Metal Parts and 1 Leaper Pulse Unit before getting inside the Controlled Access Zone.

What is a Controlled Access Zone?
The Controlled Access Zone is a special high-risk, high-reward area in Dam Battlegrounds map in ARC Raiders. This is a locked location on this map, requiring you to unlock and solve puzzles to enter and freely explore and loot everything.
This zone is found underneath the Power Generation Complex near the Generator Hall area on Dam Battlegrounds.
What’s Inside the Control Access Zone
Once you reach the zone, find the entrance to get inside, and power up the facility. After progressing inside, you need to solve the puzzle and deposit resources to open the final door. The required items can be acquired by looting and killing a Leaper.
There’s a lot of loot to put your hands on behind the last door, so set your objective and plan accordingly. Loot inside can include weapon cases, lockers, and other valuable items. You may also encounter a second locked room within the Controlled Access Zone that requires a Key Card to open.
How To Get Inside Controlled Access Zone
The Controlled Access Zone is located underneath the Power Generation Complex. Open your map to plan your route towards this locked location. Move south from the Power Generation Complex till you encounter a large metal grate on the ground.
Once you reach the entrance, the objective here for you is to move inside. The game offers multiple ways to get inside. You can climb a ladder to reach the top entrance or go in through the bottom door.
Power Up the Facility
After hopping inside the Controlled Access Zone, you must power up the facility. Get ready to find and insert a Fuel Cell into a terminal near the top of the stairs. You can find these Fuel Cells in the same room, but their location changes during each run.
How to Solve the Button Puzzle
After inserting a Fuel Cell to power up the facility, you encounter a locked door with four lights above it. There are a total of four separate buttons around the room, and each one corresponds to one of the lights above the locked door. One of the buttons is accessible just after powering up the puzzle room.
The objective for you is to hit all four buttons in the correct sequence to unlock the door beyond. Pressing the wrong button allows the sequence to reset, requiring you to start again. Keep in mind that first you need a carriable battery to unlock a door on the topmost floor. Pressing all the buttons at the same time allows you to unlock the door.
Loot Everything From the Newly Unlocked Room
After solving the puzzle and unlocking the door, you must deposit 12x Metal Parts and 1x Leaper Pulse Unit at the terminal to open the final door. Metal parts can be obtained by looting the containers, and Leaper Pulse is acquired by defeating the Leaper.
It’s worth noting that the required items are random, so don’t expect the same materials. You may also need 1x Leaper Pule and 3x Battery or 1x Arc Performance Cell and 3x Arc Power Cell.
You may also find another locked door that can only be opened by using the keycard. This required item can easily be obtained by completing missions for the various traders.
