Resident evil requiem all weapons

Discover everything you need to know about all weapons in Resident Evil Requiem, including how to get them.

Resident Evil Requiem offers a variety of combat tools, including firearms, melee weapons, and improvised enemy weapons. Each has different roles in combat depending on the situation and which protagonist you are playing as.

Leon focuses on more traditional Resident Evil action with a broad arsenal of guns, while Grace has a more survival-horror feel, with limited guns and heavier tension. Choosing the best weapon for your character helps you progress quickly while dominating enemies in combat.

How Weapon Works in Resident Evil Requiem

Pistol

Weapons are divided between those you find during the story, those you purchase from Supply Boxes, and bonus/unlockable weapons. The bonus weapons can be obtained after completing the game and earning Challenge Points.

Leon and Grace have different weapon sets, meaning each character can use specific weapons tied to them. Leon also upgrades weapons at Supply Boxes to make them more effective and damage-dealing in combat. Many weapons are physically found in specific locations as you progress.

Weapon Types

Leon

There are different weapon types in Requiem, and each one comes with its own playstyle and strength. Melee weapons are basically the close-range tools that are used for blocking, parrying, and killing infected in melee. Knives can break unless upgraded or infinite durability is unlocked.

Pistols are excellent for close to mid-range firefights and have moderate damage. Magnums can deal massive damage to enemies but have low ammo and a slow rate of fire. Requiem and Ghost Grudge are excellent against bosses and elite enemies.

Shotguns have widespread and high close-range stopping power. Rifles like Marksman 1A and Classic 70 provide range and precision. Gal and Stiri REVO3 A1 are the SMGs that have sustained fire at mid-range.

Best Three Early Game Weapons in Resident Evil Requiem

Choosing the best early-game weapon is crucial to eliminating the enemies in Resident Evil Requiem. Each of these weapons can dominate the enemies and deal massive damage when used properly.

Requiem

Requiem

This revolver has very high power, low stability, precision, and rate of fire compared to smaller guns. You start with this weapon early on, and both protagonists use it at different points in the story. Use it for big threats or bosses rather than regular zombies due to its excellent recoil and power. Ammo used in this weapon is rare, so you need to conserve shots and aim carefully.

Alligator Snapper

Alligator Snapper

Alligator Snapper is a handgun that Leon Scott Kennedy starts with in Resident Evil Requiem. This weapon is unlocked by default at the beginning of his campaign. Its moderate rate of fire and accuracy make it ideal for normal zombies and smaller infected. Alligator Snapper still works as a backup pistol with consistent performance.

MSBG 500

MSBG 500 is located in the attic area of the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center before a major boss encounter. The MSBG 500 functions like a classic pump-action shotgun, and it sprays many pellets over a wide area.

This weapon is ideal for hitting multiple targets or stagger-locking fast enemies. MSBG 500 is most effective at short distances; pellets disperse and lose power at longer ranges. The spread and damage make it extremely useful for crowd control and tough infected enemies. It has a small ammo reserve and low shell capacity per load compared to rifles.

Hi, I’m Ali. I started gaming with Max Payne, and it set the tone for my interest in darker, more immersive experiences. I mostly play soulslikes, RPGs, and FPS titles that focus on tight mechanics and pacing.

I have a strong appreciation for game soundtracks and how they shape the overall experience. I’m also a long-time horror fan, across both games and films, with a preference for atmosphere-driven storytelling. This space reflects that passion, exploring games through both their mechanics and the atmosphere they create.
