Xbox Cloud Gaming Controller has been leaked

Tecnoblog, the outlet that shared images of the unannounced Xbox Elite 3 Controller, has also shared images of a new Xbox Cloud Gaming Controller that is under development.

Looking at the images, the Xbox Cloud Gaming Controller looks very similar to the 8BitDo SN30 Pro. The buttons and sticks are the same as you’d see on a normal Xbox controller. It seems like Microsoft wants to enter the compact controller market. Some might say the current controllers are too big, and it’s great to have options for consumers.

Like the Xbox Elite 3 Controller, there is a new button that might be the same, which would be to switch between Local and Cloud modes.

The Xbox Cloud Gaming Controller will have a 500 mAh battery, and it uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 6. There is expected to be at least two color options at launch – Black and White.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see these controllers be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase since it has been a normal show to reveal new hardware. This isn’t the only controller Microsoft has been developing. In 2024, Xbox Controller ‘Sebile’ was leaked and would have improvements that would include precision haptic feedback, a rechargeable battery, and more.
