Virtual reality as a platform continues to innovate and create new ways on how players interact with the world in front of them. As I already discussed previously with how 2018’s most anticipated titles for the genre performed this well, now it seems that No Code’s Observation pushes the boundaries of how a story is told.

Revealed during yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play, the VR thriller tells the story of Dr. Emma Fisher through the lens of the vessel’s artificial intelligence, S.A.M.. Though most games on the platform typically circulate around suspense/horror, Observation stays unique by revealing the plot through a less traditional point of view.

Pre-orders for the game is currently up on both the PlayStation Store as well as the more recent Epic Games Store for $22.49..

Observation will be out for PC and PSVR on May 21, 2019.
