Back in late-May, Nintendo disclosed a handful of new content that will be arriving to the Pokémon series at the Pokémon Press Conference which is said to arrive in the coming future. Amid the announcements like Pokémon Home, Pokémon Sleep, and even a sequel for the Nintendo 3DS’ Detective Pikachu, Nintendo surprisingly announced that a new title will be launching alongside the mobile giant Pokémon Go later this year.

Revealing Pokémon Masters, this new title will standout from not only the mainline title, but also the current AR mobile game as Masters allows players to battle all Pokémon trainers throughout all generations of games which include Brock, Misty, and Red just to name a few. Today, Nintendo has officially released Masters onto Google Play & the App Store, and revealed that more content is already on the way for the latest mobile game.

Celebrating the announcement of the title’s releasing today, Nintendo announced that a new specialized event will be arriving “shortly after launch.” Sharing that the notorious trainer Blue will be visiting Masters and will be available to team up with his partner Pidgeot to fight other Pokémon trainers from the Kanto region.
