Just last week, Ubisoft announced to be present for today’s scheduled Inside Xbox livestreamed presentation to showcase gameplay for the freshly announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Especially with the announcement that Ubisoft will be present during the show made hundreds of thousands tune in just to witness the first in-game look at the approaching Viking Age-set installment.

And Ubisoft delivered on the promise showing glimpses of gameplay which precisely reflect what we have seen from the announcement cinematic trailer. You can watch the gameplay trailer in the video below:

“Become Eivor, a legendary Viking raider on a quest for glory. Explore a dynamic and beautiful open world set against the brutal backdrop of England’s Dark Ages. Raid your enemies, grow your settlement, and build your political power in the quest to earn a place among the gods in Valhalla.”

One burning question that has finally been confirmed for the highly-anticipated installment is that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will support Smart Delivery. While the title does have a release window sharing to be aligned with the new systems for holiday 2020, Microsoft confirms that players can purchase the Xbox One version and be gifted with an upgrade to Xbox Series X when they decide to transition.

Ubisoft following the initial announcement for Valhalla shared more in-depth details such as story background, gendered protagonists, and exterior gameplay when exploring. You can read the full report by heading here.

What are your thoughts on the gameplay shown for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming out in holiday 2020 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PC and Stadia.
