Only a few months ago, Nintendo announced it would end the online service for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on November 29, 2024. Today, it was announced that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will be released on December 2, 2024, and it will be offline with no in-app purchases.
At launch, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will launch at $9.99 for a limited time and will go to its normal price of $19.99 on January 30, 2025. The new version of the Animal Crossing mobile game gives existing players the opportunity to continue their campsite adventures from the original version.
There will only be a one-time purchase and players will retain access to a majority of the items and events that have been part of the game for the past seven years.
If players link their Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp save data with existing or newly created Nintendo Account by June 1, 2025, they will be able to transfer their game progress to the new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete game.
Camper Cards is something new for this Animal Crossing title. These are customizable in-game cards that each player can create and trade through a QR Code, and that includes information like your personal favorite animal pal. You can also invite friends to join you at Whistle Pass – an all-new location unique to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. At Whistle Pass, you and your friends and neighbors can enjoy activities including in-game live music performances!
