Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is reported to release on July 9, 2026

Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is expected to launch on July 9, 2026, according to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming.

The reveal for the Black Flag remake is expected to be on April 23 at 12:15 PM ET. According to the outlet, content creators and select media members were invited to a private event. They received a 30-minute presentation of the game earlier this week. Tom mentioned that the media who did see it are impressed.

Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is going to be available for current-gen only, meaning it’ll only be on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles, along with a PC release. A Switch 2 release has not been reported yet.

It has also been confirmed that Black Flag Resynced will be a solo adventure, and it is not an RPG.

This title has been in the rumor mill for over a year now. In March, Ubisoft acknowledged it briefly when the company released its plans for Assassin’s Creed in 2026.

The Black Flag Remake was originally planned to be released by the end of March 2026, but plans have changed, clearly.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released on October 19, 2013, for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. It then got released for Nintendo Switch years later.
