Following a short teaser from Atlus of Persona 5 R back in late December, fans were left anticipating the full reveal of the new project surrounding the studio’s 2016 title. Leading to today as promised for information to release on what the new game might be, Atlus released yet another teaser for the previous teaser.

But this time at least, we have the official name for the game: Persona 5: The Royal. But for context on what the new game might be revolving around for the main plot, we’re currently left in the dark until the next piece of information that will drop on April 24th.

You can watch the official teaser below.

Introducing a new red-headed character, she shares her dislike for the Phantom Thieves and prefers to “think the Phantom Thieves’ methods will make the world a better place or help anyone. In the end, I feel like you can only solve that yourself,” according to Gematsu’s translation. As of right now, it’s still unsure if this will is expected to be a spin-off the original title or if it’s an expansion.

Previously, it was rumored that the then-titled project Persona 5 R could potentially be an updated iteration of Persona 5 which will offer all content that released for the game following the course prior to launch. But what stood out for this rumor particularly was that the title could potentially be coming to Nintendo Switch.

Currently, Persona 5: The Royal is listed for PlayStation 4 with no expected release date.
