Could Barbie be coming to MultiVersus?

MultiVersus from Player First Games and Warner Bros. is getting its full release on May 28, 2024, and it will come with a lot of improvements from the beta including new fighters. There has been a lot of speculation on who will be the next fighters coming to MultiVersus and Barbie might be one of them based on a tease.

The MultiVersus social media account shared an image that says “What happened in the off-season?” with another line of text saying “Saw the hit movie of the summer”. It is obviously referring to the Barbie film because they show Superman, Harley Quinn, Shaggy, and Velma all in Barbie-themed outfits.

It would make sense for Barbie to be featured as a fighter in MultiVersus since she is a Warner Bros. product. It could also mean Ken could be an option for the fighting game as well. Player First Games has been quiet when it comes to new additions to the roster, so we will see what happens.

Player First Games has been marketing its new fighting game a lot with McDonald’s Happy Meals and a recent collaboration with the NHL that featured an actual hockey game with MultiVersus characters.
