It has been almost a year since the world first witnessed the newest EA Originals indie Sea of Solitude from developer Jo -Mei Games. But since last June at EA Play 2018, new detail on the upcoming title have not been revealed assuming that the studio is hard at work on finally bringing the game to store shelves.
Today, a new trailer for the adventure title have surfaced revealing that the wait is almost over with the game aimed to release following the Fourth of July on July 5th. Other information regarding the game’s story and minor gameplay were showcased in the short trailer.
Unique to the forthcoming title, the protagonist Kay unintentionally controls the atmosphere and weather of the game’s world through her emotions. As you progress through the journey of ocean-swallowed cities and condensed buildings, memories that currently plague Kay will resurface and leave her overwhelmed with different sentiments as you continue playing.
Previously, it was reported through publisher Electronic Arts’ financial report that the approaching release for Sea of Solitude is aimed to launch sometime in Q2 2019. Following into Q3 with two currently unannounced titles for both Plants vs. Zombies and Need for Speed franchises were also detailed in the report.
Sea of Solitude will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this coming July.
