EA Sports FC 24 Announced For September Release, Features New Cover Athlete Erling Haaland

Recently, Electronic Arts is leaping to new bounds when it comes to its released properties. In that, the firm is splitting into two subdivisions: EA Sports & EA Entertainment. While first focuses on its in-house, annual athletic titles the latter emphasizes on other major IPs and its EA Originals chapter. Currently, the EA Sports group is ramping up the fall with the new Madden NFL 24 coming later this August.

Additionally, FIFA is taking a new turn. Previously, it was reported that Electronic Arts & FIFA were going different ways and would conclude its partnership. By April this spring, Electronic Arts confirms FIFA is no more as EA Sports FC is the next step when it comes to the new yearly soccer/futbol games.

On Thursday, Electronic Arts gave EA Sports FC 24 an official gameplay trailer revealing its release slated for September this autumn. Even more, Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland will be the new cover athlete. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

Of course, HyperMotion makes its return with version ‘V’ which features improved ‘reflect real-world movement in-game more than ever before’ using over 180 male & female data from professional players. On the matter of unisex games now, EA Sports FC 24 is the first game to feature both sex divisions to play on the same pitch.

Elsewhere from Electronic Arts, the new game is to feature cross-platform play for all of its online modes. “In EA EA Sports FC 24, cross-play is expanding into all multiplayer online modes. Players will now be able to team up with their cross-platform friends as well as play against mixed cross-platform teams across all modes where crossplay is available.”
