Warhorse Studios’ upcoming Medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance is still a bit away, but a new story trailer was released today showing new details on the main character’s back story.
We play as Henry, the son of a gunsmith, whose life is lifted out of his necks as his home town is attacked by mercenaries on behalf of King Sigismund. The new trailer is based on the events that take place after the cruel death of Henry’s parents, and Henry joins the troops of Sir Radzigs to get the training he needs for his project; Taking over the throne.
The main draw of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is its dynamic world. The AI and NPC’s all change their behavior depending upon a number of factors. One quest may need you to find a fisherman for information. If it happens to be raining at the time you are looking for him,  he may instead be located at a local pub. Looking for someone in the middle of the night will also cause them aggravation if you wake them up in their bed. All of these details will influence how your missions play out. Being a medievel type game, there is also no magic in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Gameplay will be from a first person perspective, with combat focused on individual points of striking. You will need to block in the right spot, as simply hitting a button will see you get struck. It’s all part of Warhorse Studios’ immersive take on the genre, and it appears to be shaping up quite nicely.
Anyone wishing to pre-order the game can do so now on PC, but Xbox One orders will need to wait a little bit longer. The game will be available both physically and digitally, with certain bonuses available depending upon your location of pre-order.  Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been in development since early 2014, and will be released on February 13th, 2018 on Xbox One.
