
Although Super Mario sports titles are a niché over on Nintendo consoles, they are welcomed as they arrive. Just this past June is when Nintendo shipped Mario Golf: Super Rush to Nintendo Switch. As the title entails, the famous plumber and his cast of characters take it to the range and battle it out in the green to hit the least amount of golf balls as possible.
Additionally, the summer release also went on to welcome a new update which features new content to the growing experience. Then, it was revealed that Toadette will be the next playable character for the game alongside new course New Dunk City and game mode Ranked Match as well. Of course, the first update implies more is to follow later on.
In a new announcement on Thursday, Nintendo revealed that Mario Golf: Super Rush is to feature more additions in a live update dropping the same day. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
With that, Koopa Troopa alongside Ninji is the newest additions to the game’s growing roster. As you can pick up alike all playable characters, the two also feature unique abilities also available to take advantage of. The second update also incorporates two new maps – Blustery Basin & Spiky Palms as well.
Also related to Super Mario, creator Shigeru Miyamoto announced that the coming Super Mario film is to release in North America later next year. He also added some notable casting for the film welcoming Chris Pratt, Charlie, Day, Jack Black, and Seth Rogan to the production. You can read the full report by heading here.
