Mass Effect: Andromeda’s star system is still largely unknown to players coming up on its March 21 release.  However, the latest video in the official gameplay series on YouTube focuses on discovery and exploration and we now have an idea of the section of space that players will be thrust into in a few weeks.  The full video is embedded below.

The part of the video to focus on is right at the beginning, when discussing the surrounding planets.  Specifically, the video says “In Andromeda, there are over a hundred planets to discover, and a handful of beautifully crafted worlds can be landed on.”  From this, we know that the game will be focusing the player onto specific terrain for certain experiences.
While players won’t be able to land on every planet and explore it like they could in games Like No Man’s Sky or Astroneer, the dedicated efforts of the team at BioWare will have gone toward making the experiences on accessible planets that much better.  Should we learn more before Andromeda launches on March 21, we’ll keep you updated so be sure to stay tuned to Rectify Gaming for the latest.
