Mass Effect TV Series is in the works at Amazon Prime

We are now living in a world where we should expect to see TV Series and Movies based on all of the popular video game franchises. Variety has exclusively reported that a Mass Effect TV series is officially in development at Amazon MGM Studios.

Daniel Casey (Fast & Furious 9) is set to write and produce the adaptation. Karim Zreik (Daredevil) will executive produce under Cedar Tree Productions with Ari Arad (Iron Man) and Electronic Arts’ Michael Gamble producing as well.

It has been no secret that a Mass Effect TV Series has been planned since 2021 with a negotiation happening with Amazon Studios in 2022. There were also attempts to make a film based on Mass Effect, but the game director felt it would fit better as a TV Series.
