Nintendo announces new Indie World Showcase set for this week

Last week, Nintendo held its first Partner Showcase since the launch of the Switch 2. Today, they announced that a new Indie World Showcase is set for this week. The presentation focused on indie games will go live on Thursday, August 7, at 6 AM PT and 9 AM ET.

The Indie World Showcase will feature 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The presentation will be available to watch on YouTube.

While many are anticipating Hollow Knight: Silksong, it has been reported already that it will not be at this Nintendo showcase. It’s likely Microsoft may have some marketing rights to that game since it will be playable at Gamescom at the Xbox booth.
