Pokémon Pokopia Receives Full Release Scheduled For March 2026

The landscape of Pokémon is unquestionably vast and that includes what is already available as of late. This fall, GameFreak shipped Pokémon Legends: Z-A which further explores the new formula introduced in 2022’s Pokémon Legends: Arceus. And as of its first month has sold nearly 6 million copies. And, the first planned DLC ‘Mega Dimension’ is to also ship later this December.

As for future plans of the series, there was a massive dump for the Pokémon IP recently. According to what was revealed from the documents that were distributed online, many projects – both in production as well as canceled – are part of the pipeline leading into 2030. What is set to release next year is from Koei Tecmo – Pokémon Pokopia. The game sits as a cozy game where you take control as a Ditto.

This week, The Pokémon Company & Koei Tecmo announce that c is to launch next year in early March. A new trailer is promised to go live on November 13th painting a bigger picture. Although handling a first-party license, it was revealed via Gematsu that Pokémon Pokopia will release in Game-Key Card form physically come next year.

In the game, you’ll play as a Ditto transformed into a human and work together with Pokémon friends to create your very own Pokémon paradise!”  the blog post announcement shared. “You can find the physical version at game retailers and online shops, and the digital version on Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store. Those who purchase the game early can get a Ditto rug for a head start on decorating their home.”

As for other cozy titles coming to Nintendo Switch 2 next year, Nintendo recently revealed that a ‘Nintendo Switch 2 Version’ for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set to arrive in January later this winter. You can read the full report by heading here.
