max payne remake update

Remedy Entertainment revealed last August that the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake has entered full production. The game is in development alongside Rockstar Games, and today the developer revealed a new update on the project.

In its latest financial report, Remedy shared that the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake project continues its progress and remains in full production. In the second quarter, “the development team built on steady momentum from earlier in the year.”

They also mention that collaboration with Rockstar Games “remains close and productive,” ensuring alignment as the project moves toward its next big phase.

Remedy also revealed last year that Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake has the same budget as Alan Wake 2, and as mentioned previously, the project is fully funded by Rockstar Games.

A release window has not been revealed for the Max Payne Remake project, but we do know it will be releasing on Xbox Series, PC, and PlayStation 5.
