Silent Hill 2 Remake could be announced for Xbox Series and Switch 2 soon

Bloober Team could be planning to bring Silent Hill 2 Remake to other platforms in the near future. It was spotted on the developer’s website that the game’s website page got changed to have two more platform spots, which could be hinting at an Xbox Series and Switch 2 release.

It was spotted by Reddit user PracticalSubstance99, who screenshotted a piece of code that looks to have hidden icons for now at two different spots. Here is a screenshot below:

The Siltnet Hill 2 Remake was released on October 8, 2024, for PS5 and PC. It was expected to be a timed exclusive to PlayStation for its first year. However, Bloober Team could also be enhancing the game for PS5 Pro.

As of January 29, 2025, Konami announced that Silent Hill 2 Remake had sold over 2 million units worldwide. By this point, that number is likely even higher. With it coming to even more platforms soon, they should expect even better sales.
