The Sling TV app on Xbox One got an update recently, and according to a thread on Reddit, while no obvious changes were made, the long buffering times have been greatly reduced. Many users are reporting that they are no longer experiencing any buffer times, and those that are find them few and far between. The developers of the app have also indicated that another, bigger update is on the way, improving the user interface and further improvements to functionality. They are also working on bringing the app to Windows mobile.
