Fans seem to be excited for what is to come from the upcoming Game Awards as there will be awards to be given out to some of the most recognized games for 2018 along with the list of reveals that are set to happen throughout the livestreamed ceremony.

Recently Game Awards host Geoff Keighley posted a video showcasing some of the most memorable titles that released for this year. Games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War along with upcoming titles such as Death Stranding, Anthem, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. But what sparked some theories was the instance of Sam Fisher which you can see in the trailer at 0:54.

The clip used to feature the notorious Tom Clancy character is from Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands where Fisher is introduced for a in-game event. Despite Keighley stating his tweet that “It’s not meant to tease,” fans are second guessing that there might be something Splinter Cell-related to be present at The Game Awards. As Wildlands is from 2017,Fans are skeptical on whether to take Keighley’s word if it’s actually not hinting at an unannounced title reveal.

As we already know that Ubisoft will be present at the show for Far Cry, the chances of seeing another possible reveal isn’t out of the picture completely. Looking back at some reveals from previous years which later resulted being some of the most anticipated titles, the return of Sam Fisher could be another example of a surprise reveal at Geoff Keighley’s awards show.

The Game Awards will be going live on Twitch at 8:30 PM EST / 5:30 PM PST.
