EA Sports has officially revealed NHL 26 today with a release date set for September 12, 2025. They also revealed the cover athlete will feature Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Champion, Matthew Tkachuk. EA Sports NHL 26 will cost $69.99 for the first time in physical and digital.
EA Sports NHL 26 will also feature a Deluxe Edition that features Ottawa Senators Captain, Brady Tkachuk, and their father, Keith Tkachuk. This edition gives 7 days of early access on Xbox and PlayStation.
Is EA Sports NHL 26 Releasing On Switch 2?
It has been confirmed that EA Sports NHL 26 will be skipping the Switch 2 and will only release on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. While the hopes were alive for a port to the handheld console since Madden NFL 26 and FC 26 are coming to the Switch platform, NHL is going to at least wait another year.
EA has not indicated any hints that the NHL series will come to the Switch platform in the future. However, seeing Madden and FC come to the Switch 2, it does give some hope for the next one.
