Tekken Bloodline Anime Revealed, Coming To Netflix Later In 2022

Entertainment continues to dig its fingers deeper into the cash cow that is video games with more and more adaptations on the way. For Netflix especially, the firm has established itself to be the most successful with using the medium translating namely IPs into film/television. Most recently, The Cuphead Show which aired in February is already being renewed for a second season aimed for a summer release.

Upon upcoming productions underway, IGN previously reported a live-action Mega Man film is in the works. But, it does not stop there: Bioshock is another franchise also receiving the same treatment in which Netflix announced themselves elsewhere. Additionally, the Devil May Cry TV series is also underway which is said to feature 8 episodes for the first season with a layout aimed for multiple seasons later down the road.

In a new announcement, Tekken is also entering the mix with an anime series titled ‘Tekken Bloodline’. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

Examining other announced plans for later this year, Netflix revealed last week that its live-action Resident Evil show is slated for this summer. The television series is simply titled ‘Resident Evil’ currently and will follow the story of Jade & Billie Wesker in New Raccoon City. You can read the full report by heading here.
