This fall, October is to bring the haunting return of the twisted & perverted story left unanswered for more than a decade – Alan Wake II. Remedy Entertainment later this month will officially ship the newest release on its Northlight Engine which thus far illustrates the generation push for AAA games. However, that is not the only time-appropriate release coming this October.
In a previous announcement from Blue Isle Studios, the developer shared that the 10-year birthday for Slender: The Arrival is coming up. And next week, the ‘10th Anniversary Update’ for the game is coming. Part of the new patchwork for Slender: The Arrival also shares that both Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 are to welcome dedicated versions of the 2013 game.
“Brace yourselves for a huge update coming this October as we introduce a complete visual overhaul utilizing the latest and greatest technologies and Unreal Engine 5.2,” the developer writes in the blog post. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Every shadow, every material, every model and every hair-raising encounter with the mysterious Slender Man will be rendered in stunning detail. This new update not only enhances the graphics but also elevates the overall gameplay experience,” Blue Isle Studios adds. Not only will a new chapter be included for the forthcoming update, but pre-orders is also promised to include a copy of Valley as well.
