For major Japanese-developed franchises, many of those video games are being adapted to film in recent years. One namely brand being Sonic the Hedgehog: the titular film release back in February 2020 and swiftly took the throne to being one of the most successful box office releases for a video game-adapted motion picture. But, others not so much.
Looking at Monster Hunter, the production while very enthusiastic as Resident Evil director Paul S.W. Anderson returns for the next Capcom film only reached so far. In reality, the film did stir some controversy at the beginning as there happened to be one scene to screened a derogatory slur referenced to people of Asian descent. The segment of the movie ultimately left the film being pulled in Chinese theaters at the time of reporting.
Now, Dynasty Warriors is finally coming together as the namely film is scheduled to arrive in late April for Hong Kong & China. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

As of writing, there is no word for a western release for the Dynasty Warriors film. To reiterate on the success of Sonic the Hedgehog, Paramount Studios announced a follow-up, Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
