Square Enix’s 2003 title Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was announced today to be returning with a remastered version for modern consoles, leaving out Microsoft’s console and PC.

Originally a GameCube exclusive, this title will have you embark on a journey for in search of hope to fight off the Miasma that has overrun your home land. You and along with friends can play together as you work your way against the invading forces online. Removing the annoying setback of having to link several Gameboy Advance handhelds the initial title required over a decade before.

For the inconvenience the original game had, coming to current gen consoles is a pleasure for the many who didn’t bother with the extra costs the game had before. And just like with any remastered title, there will be an visual upgrade along with better load times for the upcoming action RPG.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is aimed to release in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
