
Last week, Xbox Head Phil Spencer decided to spill the beans on the next Xbox Series X showcase to disclose that the coming online presentation will reveal some of the new software that fans can expect on the platform. Anticipating what exactly at the time was difficult to determine due to limiting details, but following recent clarifications today, its is certain hat exactly will be revealed later on.
In a new tweet today, Microsoft announced that the next Inside Xbox scheduled for this coming Thursday will reveal new projects that players can expect the most results for on Xbox Series X.
Initially, users online expected that Microsoft would showcase already-announced titles such as Halo Infinite and potentially Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II to be at the show, but according to a separate tweet, that is not the case. Shared by Xbox General Manager Aaron Greenberg, he tweets to suggest that the showcase will feature third-party games as first-party release will be shown later in 2020.
“Also know that the Xbox Game Studios teams are hard at work on some big summer plans,” Greenberg shared following the announcement for the next Inside Xbox. Even more elsewhere in yet another separate tweet, Ubisoft shares that the recently announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be among one of the games to expect a gameplay reveal next week.
Prior to the official announcement, Bloomberg Tech’s Jason Schreier teased the Viking Age-set title to have an expected gameplay demo next week. However, it was not assumed to be through the means of Microsoft showcasing its next-generation system. But instead we gathered he implied that Ubisoft would release a scheduled demo online instead. Nonetheless, this will surely grab attention for those who are impatient to learn more.
This showcase happens to be one of the two events that were rumored to be taking place previously. Recognized insider Timdog spared details regarding the events stating on for May and a later presentation in June. The leaker disclosed that one of the events is expected to introduce the already-understood Project Lockhart. Windows Central supports the claim by reporting the titling for the unannounced system to be ‘Xbox Series S’ later on.
