Austrian developer Moon Studios for the past year or two now have shown to be quietly at work on the upcoming sequel to their 2015 story-driven platformer Ori and the Blind Forest. Initially, the studio alongside Xbox Game Studios disclosed the game to be arriving next year right before Valentine’s Day on February 11th, but the game was faced with an abrupt delay and will now be releasing a month after in March on the same day.

However, there is some evidence that looked to have surfaced this past week that reveals what Moon Studios might have scheduled next following the launch of Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Through a job listing on Gamasutra, the studio is looking for a Senior Designer for a new, unnamed project.

More so, the listing states that Moon Studios is looking to “revolutionize the ARPG genre” as a new goal set through this unannounced title. Asking for a specific pedigree of applicants have experience different popular RPGs and their meta to hone into this new game.

Passionate: You’ve played and studied RPGs your whole life and you still can’t get enough of them. You have a love for all things Diablo, Zelda, Dark Souls and other games in the genre. You’d love the opportunity to work on an RPG that dares to innovate and go far beyond what the genre has offered players thus far.

Aside from the most eye opening discovery from the job listing, the developer also asks for expected standards from those interested in applying such as experience, drive, and being a “cool dude / dudette.”

This is not the first instance of a development team backed by Xbox Game Studios in which their classified project was compromised through a job listing online. Earlier this Fall, a new game from Wasteland studio InXile Entertainment was revealed to be in development with the team’s aim to release the project for the then-dubbed Project Scarlett next generation console. Regarding release for this new RPG though, the title can expected to be available on Xbox, PC< and even Switch due to the team not being acquired by Microsoft as of reporting this.

Do you think you might pick up this new RPG by Moon Studios?

Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be available for Xbox One and PC on March 11, 2020.
