QBQuantum Break, Remedy Entertainment’s highly-anticipated new game, scheduled to release in early April, has officially finished development, or, as the industry saying goes, has “Gone Gold.”  While this obviously doesn’t mean that Remedy’s work is finished, creative director Sam Lake certainly showed on Twitter how refreshing it is to hit this milestone by celebrating with a huge bottle of Champaign.
While no specific DLC plans for Quantum Break have been announced, at this point in the industry it is assumed that there will be several pieces of post-release content on which Remedy will be soon hard at work.  Add that to the ongoing support and troubleshooting that a major AAA title like Quantum Break requires, it is safe to say that the studio still has a lot to do.
Quantum Break will be available on Xbox One and PC starting April 5.  The PC version will not be available through Steam, but players who purchase the Digital Xbox One version will receive a free copy of the PC version, and will support shared saves.
