Since the release of Apex Legends back in February, the game has proven to be a staple and possibly the next step for the battle royale genre as a whole. While the early stages for the category of game still develops, there are more than a handful of players who have already went the extra mile and played the title endlessly to climb the traditional ranks and even more into the competitive matchmaking as well.

Fortunately for those hardcore players, Respawn Entertainment has announced that this coming Tuesday will be introducing an complete overhaul of the current rank format to keep players engaged towards continuing their dedicated campaign to reaching max ranks. For starters, the max rank level cap has been bumped up from the initial 100 to a whopping 500.

Atop of the additional 400 levels coming our way next week, Apex Packs have also been increased to 199 from the original 45 available. Depending on your rank placement will determine if you unlock one every level, every two, or every five ranks you unlock. Players will also be granted 600 Apex Tokens for each rank they reach, alongside receiving a gun charm for every 100 levels that is met.

For those who have been struggling to level up currently since the game’s launch nine months ago, Respawn has also announced that XP requirements for ranking has been reduced to give underleveled players a slight push to keep up with the heavy-hearted users. Generally for those who are still under level 100 will receive a five percent reduction towards leveling up. Some might even notice to being a higher level than previous once the client goes live, Respawn shares.

Speaking more about charms, Respawn has also disclosed that more than 35 different charms will be added to Apex Packs: those will be available for only Epic and legendary tiered Packs. The charms are also said to be in rotation for the Shop as well from time to time.

Apex Legends is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
