
The Hyrule Warriors series remains to be a niché spin-off that continues to give to its players. From the original release on both Nintendo 3DS & Nintendo Wii U, to the more recent Hyrule Warriors: Ago of Calamity, fans are continuing to find new games available. The most recent is Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The game is a showcased release for the Nintendo Switch 2 previously this past spring.
At the Nintendo Direct on Friday this week, Nintendo & Koei Tecmo confirms that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will officially release this November for Nintendo Switch 2. You can watch the new release date trailer in the video below:
“Battle hordes of enemies alongside your allies and pair up with them to unleash mighty Sync Strikes. Strategically deploy Zonai devices with water, wind or other effects to change the flow of combat. Fight alongside a friend in split-screen co-op, or use GameShare6 to play together on two separate systems if one player has the game,” the official press release reads.
Around the same time, Koei Tecmo confirmed that Dynasty Warriors: Origins will be releasing on Nintendo Switch 2 later this winter. Alongside its January 2026 scheduled launch, a major DLC will release for the full game then as well. You can read the full report by heading here.
