Yesterday, March 25th marked the debut episode for State of Play, which is Sony’s version of a Nintendo Direct. A lot of fans were expecting big news to drop, but we mostly got PlayStation VR updates with new game announcements coming. What they didn’t mention in the video program was that PS VR has sold-through more than 4.2 million units as of March 3rd, 2019. There were some notable titles announced for Sony’s Virtual Reality system including Marvel’s Iron ManFive Nights At Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted.

It was also announced that there will be a VR update coming to No Man’s Sky this Summer. Hello Games will add a new update to the game allowing players to experience the game with the option of using a VR headset. The upcoming update will apply to both the base game and also NEXT for all current owners of the game for no extra charge.

It looks like PlayStation VR has been a success for Sony as of late.
